My five senses in lock down!

My five senses in lockdown.

I can hear the birds chirping
 In the trees.

I can taste my Mum’s delicious baking!

I can see people walking on the streets.

I can smell the apple crumble crispening in
the oven.

I can feel the bed sheets tucked over
my head

  1. Hi Jazmin. What a lovely poem. I really like your word choices, such as crispening. I wonder if you coud add other adverbs and adjectives to each line? Keep up the good work.

  2. Kia ora Jazmin, I enjoyed reading your poem. I heard plenty of birds chirping in my trees too during the lockdown. I walked in the garden, on some sunny days, and heard the buzz of a large Queen Bombus bumblebee. I wonder if you could illustrate your poem and put this on your blog too. Elizabeth K
